Hi, I’m Katie McAllister.

I am committed to learning, growing, deepening and softening so that the beauty in you can be seen, reflected and honored with tenderness, compassion and loving service from me. I guide you to remember the golden, miraculous, light of creation that you’ve been longing to welcome home. I connect with, and listen to, the bodies innate wisdom, with curiosity and without judgment, witnessing and reflecting the patterns and stories that keep us stuck, creating resistance and tension in the body. We will work together to regain safety and emotional regulation in the nervous system.

My quest for personal growth and self care tools began in 2005, with a two year study in herbalism and a variety of topics including: aromatherapy, homeopathy, flower essences, iridology and kinesiology, with Kelley Robie of Horsetail Herbs.

For three years I dove deeply into exploring my psyche with Atmo Abram, learning psychology through the lens of astrology and the archetypes. I learned about the strengths and challenges of the energies I was born with, how to separate the stories of my experiences from how I was identifying myself, and tools to understand how to move forward.

This gave me the clarity to see the next open door…which lead me to complete a two year apprenticeship with Sierra McFeeters of Indigenous Roots Institute, who initiated me into the teachings of North and South American shamanic techniques. This included travel to Peru to work with Mary Ann Eddows to gain insight into their history, traditions and practices and is where I first experienced sound healing.

My desire to have a multifaceted knowledge of cross cultural healing techniques attracted me to Reiki and Tibetan sound healing.  I earned the Usui Reiki Master certification with Sierra McFeeters and completed my fundamental/advanced and chakra master sound certifications with Kirk Jones of the International Academy of Sound Healing.

I studied chakra activation techniques with Anodea Judith of Sacred Centers, utilizing bioenergetics and yoga and followed my sound healing curiosity with a course Jillian Purce taught on Vocal Overtone Chanting. This deepened my understanding of the innate power in our body to move energy and shift states.

After opening my practice at Whetstone Wellness, I experienced a profound healing while receiving a Biofield Tuning session and my curiosity got the best of me, so I completed the fundamental and practitioner certifications from the Biofield Tuning Institute. This assisted me in fine tuning my pathways of perception.

Most recently I had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala where I met Sweet Medicine Nation, whom I now have the honor of apprenticing with. I experienced profound healings while in traditional Cacao and Temazcal ceremonies and listened to many teachings around the sacred fire at the edge of Lake Atitlan with the majestic volcanos watching over us. Months later I traveled to meet her in Baja to participate in the House of Flowers initiations and rites of passage for womb-in/women with her and feel a stirring inside to expand into whatever is next for me.

Psychology Today

Hi, I’m Drex Wright.

My practice is inherently humanistic and somatically based, I believe we all have an internal striving toward health and wholeness. Relational issues or traumatic experiences can lead us to think, feel and relate to ourselves in ways that do not value our inner knowledge, health and resources. We will work together to restore talents, strengths and abilities that have been taken over by problematic stories. By retelling these stories and experiences with preferred outcomes we can reconnect to your dreams and goals, this often helps people develop new strategies for change and increased happiness and satisfaction.

I utilize Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Sensory Motor Psychotherapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy to assist individuals in developing a curious and flexible attitude about issues exchanging reactive behavioral patterns for more adaptive strategies.

I have a Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Vermont and a Masters degree in counseling from Johnson State College.
